Jackson Health System is made up of healthcare facilities around Miami-Dade County which serve residents close to their homes. The system consists of Jackson Memorial Hospital, 10 primary care centers, 16 school-based programs and two Car-A-Vans that visit seven locations.
In affiliation with the University of Miami’s Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, Jackson offers a full range of care from prevention to the most advanced treatment for the sick and critically injured regardless of their ability to pay. It also provides superior services at its specialized facilities and centers including the Ryder Trauma Center, Holtz Children’s Hospital, UM/JM Burn Center, Newborn Intensive Care Center, Jackson Transplant Center and Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital.
Jackson provides non-medical services including pastoral
care, health education and programs for international patients. The health
system also fosters an environment for medical education and research.
