With breast cancer being the most common form of cancer among women other than skin cancer, it is imperative for women of all ages to obtain proper care and screenings. Physicians and nurse-midwives at the Women’s Hospital Center offer regular breast examinations for its patients as part of routine examinations and care.

For further testing or follow-up care, Jackson Memorial's Taylor Breast Health Center offers comprehensive services including diagnostic imaging, such as mammography, ultrasound and MRI, with state-of-the-art technology and equipment. The Breast Health Center also offers breast cancer patients services to meet all of their unique needs, including treatment planning for benign and malignant tumors, pre-and post breast surgery care, alternatives to complete breast removal, counseling and other long-term follow-up care.

The Jackson South Community Hospital  Comprehensive Breast Health Center also offers breast care. This new center provides state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, including digital mammography, which allows radiologists to fully examine the breast scans on the spot and provide further testing if needed. The center also offers same-day test results for patients. Not only does this provide patients with piece of mind, but it also allows follow-up care to be provided that same day if necessary.

Jackson North Medical Center also offers mammography services, allowing women in north Miami-Dade to receive their regular testing at a facility right in their own backyard.
