Our mission is to provide an educational experience that will allow the fellow to acquire the fund of knowledge and clinical/surgical skills required of a colon and rectal surgeon to treat patients with all types of diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. This goal will be achieved through didactic sessions, participation in clinical conferences, hands on experience in clinics and the operating room, laboratory and virtual skills training, and participation in clinical research.  Our facility provides a wide range of patient pathology and the fellow is exposed to both simple conditions as well as very complex benign and malignant diseases.
