Introducing Innovative, Non-Surgical Treatment For Fibroids
Twenty-five million women in the United States live with excessive bleeding and pelvic cramping caused by uterine fibroids. These benign tumors are often treated with invasive surgery or even a hysterectomy, which can require weeks of recovery. The Fibroid Treatment Center at Jackson North Medical Center now offers Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), an innovative, non-surgical treatment that can have you back to your busy life in just a few days.

In the Spotlight
Weight-Loss Surgery Center
Currently, one in three adults in the United States is overweight. Obesity creates serious health risks including high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke and some forms of cancer. Our Weight-Loss Surgery Center is led by well-known bariatric surgeon Jorge L. Sosa, M.D. Dr. Sosa has performed more than 1,800 gastric bypass procedures, which he does through a laparoscope, thus improving recovery time and leaving much smaller scars.
Free information sessions about bariatric surgery are offered at Jackson North Medical Center the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. For more information on the program, click here or call 1-866-931-TRIM.
